Crazy Days

The past week and a half have been nonstop action in the Walker household. We got Richelle married off to Jamie. That was quite the event! We really had a good time, and the wedding was beautiful, but I am still exhausted! They have such great friends, which of course always makes the wedding so much more fun. We had lots of good laughs. All I could think of was how my parents must have felt after my wedding!

The rest of life is chug-chug-chugging along. The school year is coming to a close, and the weather is getting down right hot. Cookie Monster has his last baseball game of the season this Saturday. They don't even keep score in his league, but according to him they haven't lost a game yet! I guess that's possible...

Following the Baseball game we are going to go camping for the night with the Cub Scouts. This is a much anticipated event as it only happens a couple of times a year. I hope we survive it...

As many of you know the "Lot Situation" has been a very trying one. We are in the final hours of the whole thing and still don't know what is going to happen. We had given up on it altogether last week, and so I have really said my goodbye to that piece of property. There is a part of me that is holding out hope, though. Chris and I have come up with one central truth through it all--we are thankful for what we do have. We have a great family and where we physically live could never detract from that. Who knows where we will build No-No's house ultimately, but we will all live together there - with each other. That's the one thing we do know. And that's enough.

And my Nosey Posey...what a big boy. He is going to be in Kindergarten next year! My days are going to seem so strange without him. Luckily the school is only two blocks away. I can't believe he is 5 years old. He has grown so much in so many ways. He is such a great kid! I am truly thankful God chose our family for him to be a part of.
